April is Islamic Heritage Month and we are partnering with the International Museum of Muslim Cultures in Jackson, MS to present a free virtual concert "Unity in Diversity: An Interfaith Journey Through Music & Dance"
Join us Saturday April 3rd at 7pm for this free Facebook Live event featuring performances by award-winning global artists Surabhi Ensemble, Diwan al-Han, Morikeba Kouyate, Abdul Hakeem, and more. The performance will feature classical, folk, and spiritual music and storytelling traditions from Africa, India, the Middle East, Spain, and the U.S.
As America’s first Islamic history and culture museum, the International Museum of Muslim Cultures is dedicated to educating the American public about Islamic history and culture, the contribution of Muslims to the global community, and the diversity of the Muslim community.
IMMC’s aim is to be a venue for presenting the diverse Islamic cultural histories and contributions, and serve as an educational resource for teaching global consciousness, historical literacy, and multicultural appreciation.
