Surabhi Ensemble at City Winery Chicago on Monday, June 26th at 8:00pm

Surabhi Ensemble returns to City Winery after a successful debut of a new work at the Chicago World Music Festival called “Scenes from the Pandemic” and being selected as one of Chicago’s Top International and Global ensembles in the 2022 Chicago Reader’s Best of Chicago poll. The ensemble will present excerpted scenes from the new work along with special guest appearances by members of Sones de Mexico, Las Guitarras de España, Intercultural Music Production and the Ishti Collective. Additionally, the Surabhi Ensemble has been invited to perform in Pune, Bangalore, Gujarat, and Goa for late 2024. This continues the Surabhi Ensemble “Global Peace Tour” which has included stops in Vietnam, Senegal, Spain, Portugal and Mexico. This program will also feature a preview of works from the India 2024 Tour.
